In my life I feel I'm climbing multiple, Life it self, family, career and other relationships. In this blog ill just talk about careers.
Currently I'm on residential life mountain. I've reach several openings to continue on to the next. I'm always extending myself to the limits as if I were a true mountain climber with no ropes or harnesses holding on to this huge mass of earth to only get a better grasp and my footing correct to launch my body to the next mass my strong hands and grasp and pull myself up. Only difference between myself and the actual mountain climber is I have attached to my foot a rope and that rope is tied to my business.
My writer said to me last night that in the past one could have a business and not be attached, nowadays they are intwinded amongst one another and the relationship may not be seperate.
I am my business and my business is me, so I launch myself into the abyss with no room for humilation or second chance. When someone says no then quickly I asses and see what's the next move. There closing the door on themselves not me and my business, they must be outta their crazy ass mind to think imma give, or relax.
So if one piece of rock falls free or if something comes tumbling down that cliff in my direction I have but only one move to make....get outta the way! Then, get back to work moving in the right direction and that's up, I have to continue to climb the mountain to reach the top. Sure ill stand there for a second and take in the beauty of the sight, but then its on to the next!

The concept of climbing "up" is definitely worth pursuing. But as you pursue your challenges you start to see that we also begin to expand inward, deeper into ourselves, and better for our communities. Your purpose is no longer about doing for self - but using yourself to do for others.
